Introduction UDOM Online Application

All applications are processed through an Online Admission System which can be accessed at UDOM OAS.  All application procedures are available from the online system website.  All applicants (direct and equivalent qualifications) will have to apply through the UDOM-OAS. All requisite information and guidelines to take the applicant through the application stages are provided from the respective Instructions tab. ie.  UNDERGRADUATE  tab for those applying for Certificates, diplomas and bachelor degrees and POSTGRADUATE tab for those applying for postgraduate-diplomas, masters and PhD.

Important things to consider before applying online at University of Dodoma (UDOM).

Consider the following things for a smooth and error-free UDOM Online application 2021/2022:

• Familiarize yourself with the UDOM admission requirements: Before making an application, make sure you have read and understood the UDOM admission requirements, follow this link to find out more details about UDOM admission requirements.


• Make a full list programs/courses you are going to apply for at the University of Dodoma (UDOM).


• Make sure you have a valid and working email address that you will use later while registering your UDOM online application account through UDOM Online Application system.


• Make sure you have a valid phone number, as it will be used for all important notification in the future (Notification about your Selection status and verification code will be sent to this number)


• Prepare your UDOM online application fee: Before starting the application, process make sure you have 10000 TZS Application fee on your mobile money.

 How to apply at UDOM through UDOM OAS

• Welcome to the university of Dodoma online application portal.


• If you are intending to apply for a non-degree, undergraduate or postgraduate programmes then you are on the right page.


• In order to be able to apply for any programme, you will first need to create an account by clicking the button on the menu bar.


• After creating an account, log in to be able to apply.


• Study carefully programmes to be applied whether you meet minimum entry qualifications.

1. First-time applicants are applicants that have not used this system before and have no accounts to enable them to log in to the system using their username and passwords. These applicants are required to get registered first.


2. Existing applicants are applicants who have completed Registration in this system before and were able to create accounts to enable them to log in to the system using their username and password. These applicants can log in to the system anytime. Existing applicants are applicants who have completed Registration in this system before and were able to create accounts to enable them to login to the system using their username and passwords. These applicants can login to the system anytime.


3. When logged in applicant will be able to make application fee payment and complete the application.


4. Online application will only be visible for filling once application fee is paid.


5. In order to successfully complete the application; applicant is required to complete all steps from Home to Submit your application.


6. After selection of applicants, UDOM submits lists of successful applicants to the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) for approval. Upon approval, UDOM advertises the names of all applicants admitted into different study programmes. The final decision on who should be admitted is made by the University.


7. All new students are required to report for the orientation programme that normally takes place during the week preceding the beginning of the new academic year.


8. Successful applicants under self sponsorship are registered only after they have paid the requisite University dues.


9. All fees paid will not be refunded.


10. All students, if accepted, are expected to conform entirely to University regulations.

Undergraduate Applicants

•  Date: The mini-application window shall be open from 15 July 2022 up to 25 September, 2022


•  Application Fee: 10000/=

• Successful applicants will be notified by the Mid of October

Application fee should be paid via TIGO PESA, AIRTEL MONEY, M PESA, NMB, EXIM BANK or CRDB. Mode of payment will be specified after successful registration into the Online application system.
