Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences MUHAS Online Application 2022/2023: The Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) uses online application system (OAS) to receive and process applications for admission in to various MUHAS programmes. The Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences online application System is linked with Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) admission system, National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) and National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) for degrees, certificates and Diploma verification.

MUHAS Online application is an online database system created and designed by Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences IT department that automate the collection, tabulation and reporting of applicant information to simplify college admission and application process at MUHAS. The Online application system requires the user/Applicant to have a computer that is connected to the internet enable the user/applicant to access the online application System and make application instantly.

Applicants for Postgraduate Programs are required to apply online through this portal and follow instructions given to complete their applications. Payment can be done via mobile money or directly into MUHAS bank account (for foreign applicants NBC bank account details are included in Admission Requirements below)

How to Apply Muhas  through MUHAS OAS?

1. Step #1: Visit the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences website and click on the online application link for undergraduate students or postgraduate applicants,


2. Step #2: Registration; after clicking the link on step one above, it will direct you to MUHAS OAS, form where you should fill in all the required information,  If you are First-time applicant then you need to get registered first, First-time applicants are applicants that have not used the MUHAS OAS before and have no accounts to enable them to log in to the system using their username and passwords. The information needed during registration stage includes your name, O-Level number, email, password, type of programme you are applying, and your qualification mode.


3. Step #3: Login to Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences online application and provide your basic information. It includes things like your sex, marital status, date of birth, among others. Existing applicants are applicants who have completed Registration in this system before and were able to create accounts to enable them to log in to the system using their username and password. These applicants can log in to the system anytime


4. Step #4: Application fee payments: When logged in applicant will be able to make application fee payment and complete the application.


5. Step #5: The Online application, online application and course selection feature will only be visible for filling once application fee is paid.


6. Step #6: Submit your completed application: In order to successfully complete the application; applicant is required to complete all steps from Home to Submit your application.

Undergraduate Applicants

•  Application Fee: 10000/=

• Successful applicants will be notified by the end of  October 2022

Application fee should be paid via TIGO PESA, AIRTEL MONEY, M PESA, NMB, EXIM BANK or CRDB. Mode of payment will be specified after successful registration into the Online application system.
