Bachelor of Science in Animal Science The programme produce graduates capable of effectively managing livestock sector and provide technical advice  and self-employment in sustainable livestock production. To smallholder farmers and large scale livestock system. Graduates are competent in poultry, dairy, beef cattle, piggery, and small ruminant nutrition, health and breeding for enhanced quality and productivity

At the end of this programme a student will be able to:

1. Effectively manage livestock species and livestock industry


2. Effectively communicate livestock extension information


3. Apply knowledge in livestock production to various production systems


4. Plan and execute livestock-based research analyse data and interpret the results


5. Plan and formulate livestock agenda and policies
